Settings
Everything under /settings is a real preference that drives behavior, not cosmetic. Settings are local-first: they apply instantly on this device and sync to your account, keyed to your login wallet, so they follow you across devices. Here's what each group controls.
Swap & transaction defaults
These seed every new swap and set how your transactions are prioritized.
- Default slippage: the slippage tolerance a new swap opens with, in basis points (default 0.5%). You can still override it per swap.
- Priority fee: how aggressively to tip for block inclusion. "Auto" lets the app pick from live network conditions. The tiers map to real priority-fee levels on-chain, so a busier network costs more but lands faster.
- Confirm before sign: adds an explicit confirmation step before signing, even for popup-free embedded wallets that could sign silently. Off by default. Turn it on if you want a beat to review every transaction.
Bridge & transfers
- Bridge slippage: a separate tolerance for cross-chain bridge quotes (default 1%). A cross-chain fill moves more than a same-block swap, so it gets its own number rather than sharing the swap one.
- Default privacy routing: which mode the distribute panel opens on. Direct is a plain fan-out. Fresh wallet routes through a throwaway wallet (Solana only) to loosen clustering. Husher routes each transfer through a privacy chain so the deposit and delivery are unlinked on-chain (all chains, ~5 min per transfer). Husher takes its own routing cost, and lp.xyz adds a 0.2% platform fee. Switchable per run.
Scope defaults
Where the hub and swap open, so you don't re-pick your usual chain and venue every visit.
- Default chain: the chain the hub and swap open on. All chains is a valid hub choice (the swap resolves it to its first enabled chain, since a swap runs on exactly one).
- Default AMM: the AMM the hub filters to on open, or all of them.
Automation defaults
Account-wide starting points for newly enabled automation: the autoharvest cadence and minimum-fee threshold, and, for trailing walls, the dwell time before a wall repositions and the offset it keeps from price. All four genuinely seed a position at the moment you enable it. Once you set a value on a specific position, that per-position value always wins over the default.
Display & privacy
- Hide balances masks dollar figures for over-the-shoulder privacy, while hide small balances filters dust below a threshold you set (the headline total still counts everything: it's a row filter, not a value redaction).
- Denomination (USD or native), theme, and accent intensity tune how the UI reads.
Tooltips
Tooltip length controls how much explanation the ⓘ tooltips carry. A new account starts on Auto: full explanations for the first 24 hours, then they largely subside. The other three are fixed choices that never change on their own.
- Auto
- Verbose for 24 hours after you first connect, then quiet. The default for a new account: it's how the app teaches itself to you and then gets out of the way.
- None
- Explanations off.
- Medium
- One concise line per tooltip.
- Long
- The full explainer, with context and caveats. Set this to bring everything back at any time.
One thing does not go quiet at any setting, including “None”: tooltips that carry a warning, a cost, a risk, or the reason an action is unavailable. Those always render. At “None” they render their one-line form, which is the same warning without the background. That is what makes turning the rest off safe to offer.
The same section replays the nine-step product walkthrough that runs on your first connect.
Wallet defaults
- Default active wallet: which of your wallets is selected on load.
- Hide main wallet de-emphasizes the connected login wallet in the switcher and tables (it's the auth wallet, so it can't be removed, but it can be tucked away).
- Show hidden wallets reveals archived wallets in the portfolio scope and wallet manager, and new-wallet chain family sets which chains a freshly spawned wallet derives accounts for.
Local-first, synced per account
Changes take effect immediately on the device you make them on, then sync to your account under your login wallet. Sign in on another device and your preferences come with you. A preference you never touch stays at its sensible default.
