Build on lp.xyz
A versioned API for partner backends that need the same market, portfolio, quote, and unsigned transaction-building capabilities used by lp.xyz. Access is reviewed, scoped, rate-limited, and priced by agreement with the team.
How access works
- 1 · Account ID
- Sign in and copy your Account ID from Settings → API.
- 2 · Terms
- Send it to the team and agree limits, scopes, and pricing.
- 3 · Access
- We switch on access.
- 4 · Keys
- Create, name, rotate and revoke your own server-side keys in Settings → API.
Authentication and safety
Send the key in X-API-Key from your backend. Keys begin with lpx_live_, are shown once, and should be held in a server secret manager. Every response includes a request ID. Admitted calls include rate-limit headers; public metadata and early denials can omit them.
Transaction builders return unsigned payloads
Your wallet infrastructure remains the signer. Builders require an Idempotency-Key; identical retries return the same result for ten minutes. Check transaction freshness before signing a replay.
Example
curl 'https://api.lp.xyz/v1/tokens/search?q=USDC&chain=base' \ -H 'X-API-Key: lpx_live_…'
Complete terminal workflow
Follow the terminal integration guide for copyable read, quote, build and confirmation examples, amount units, signing requirements and error recovery. Download the terminal smoke and signing preparation example to verify your integration with your approved host and key. The OpenAPI document lists request fields and scopes.
Review the signing plan
Solana payloads retain partial signatures and blockhash validity. EVM fee plans use the verified LP.xyz fee router; approvals remain receipt-gated prerequisites. Your custody infrastructure handles authorization, simulation, gas budgets and nonce ordering.
Limits and usage
- Your negotiated requests-per-minute and burst limit apply globally across your keys.
- Every call is recorded per key; Settings → API shows the last 30 days.
- A 401 means the key is invalid or access is off. A 429 includes Retry-After.

Negotiated pricing and limits stay private so they can reflect your volume, endpoint mix, and upstream cost profile.
